Paul Keller and Cary Kocher have played together since high school days. The Keller/Kocher Quintet is the product of a longtime shared passion for George Shearing’s innovative quintet format. Keller has toured and recorded with Diana Krall, and has worked internationally with John PIzzarelli. He has led his own big band, the Paul Keller Orchestra, for thirty years. Kocher has a classical pedigree, playing regularly with the symphony; he teaches percussion at the University of Michigan, and fronts the local favorite salsa band Los Gatos.
