Mardi Gras Party

This year, 2017, marks the 25th Annual Mardi Gras party hosted by the Greater Detroit Jazz Society. This party, the largest in the Detroit area, features Ray Heitger’s “Cakewalkin’ Jass Band” from Toledo, Ohio with . You may remember the Cakewalkin’ Jass Band playing at Tony Packo’s in Toledo for many, many years. They just get better and better!

At this true Mardi Gras party with genuine New Orleans jazz and traditional Mardi Gras food, our “jazzy ladies” don their beaded dresses, hoist their parasols and strut their stuff. We are a true sisterhood in every way, and it’s never more apparent than at our Mardi Gras party. Come and join the fun!

PLEASE NOTE: THE VENUE THIS YEAR HAS CHANGED to the OTHER ConCorde Inn, it is not being held in Rochester Hills. This larger venue is located at 44315 Gratiot Avenue, Clinton Township, 48036. It’s conveniently located near M-59, or new I-94. Please do not call the venue for tickets, they are only available through the Greater Detroit Jazz Society.
